GIVING BACK

What is the most important thing in the world?

In Maori, the response is ‘He tāngata, he tāngata, he tāngata’. In other words, it is people, it is people, it is people!

Our philosophy is to give back to our wider community. Your purchases support people in need – thank you so much!

Cyclone Gabrielle has been described as “one of the worst storms” to hit New Zealand in living history in February 2023. It has caused significant damage to homes, infrastructure, and livelihoods across northern and eastern regions of the North Island. It is New Zealand's costliest non-earthquake natural disaster, with economic losses expected to exceed $2bn-$4bn. We are currently working with local agencies in and around Greater Auckland to provide much needed assistance to our wider community.

We are delighted to partner with Shining Light Community Trust in Auckland. They do tremendous work both locally and internationally with communities to relieve poverty and assist families undergoing physical and financial hardship. Paul and Paulie continues to support this charity by cooking meals for the community, contributing winter essentials for families (like socks, gloves, beanies, sleeping bags, blankets, and pillows), gifting our organic cotton garments to new mums and babies through the Middlemore Hospital Trust.

We are thrilled to announce that we are partnering with Bare Necessities Charity, who work with community organizations to provide expectant and new mothers in need, with starter parenting packs, maternity, and nursing clothing, and much more. Read our latest blog to know how you can be involved! 😊

Other local community-based initiatives are in the pipeline as we grow! Subscribe to our newsletter to know more!
